All the Latest Pop Music in the Mainstream Music World!

Bo Burnham “Repeat Stuff”

Bo Burnham recently released a music video for his song “Repeat Stuff” which he first performed in his standup special “what.”. The song takes clear shots at the pop music industry, especially how generalized love songs are to appeal to a broad crowd in order to make the most money. Bo notes a clear vicious cycle that is plaguing teenage girls, saying “I’m in magazines with model teens so far above you, so read them and hate yourself, then pay me to tell you ‘I love you'”. The music video is similar to the standup performance of the song, with just a little more references to pop stars being affiliated with Satan.

Last year on an interview with Conan, Bo apologized for making fun of Justin Bieber in his standup routine while Bieber happened to be in the audience. While the lyrics don’t insult the Biebs in this song, Bo’s character certainly seems to parody many of his music videos with the posing almost a minute into the video. Hopefully, Bo will continue to produce great and offbeat content like this. I look forward to his next comedy special, since “what.” was wonderful.

New Music From Imagine Dragons “Warriors” + Free Download!

Alongside the World Championships for Riot Games’ League of Legends, Imagine Dragons have teamed up with them to create a song just for the event! For those that have no idea what League of Legends is, it’s a free to play game for the PC. You and four other “Champions” (team mates) try to take down the other teams Nexus before the other team gets to yours. It takes a lot to learn but it can be fun if played with friends, especially when you are all the same level and experience.

Getting on to the song! The drum in the back round gives it a very triumphant feel to the song. Honestly the song makes me feel as if I was going to participate in the World Championships, it gets me pumped up and I actually don’t play the game!

The music video also goes very well to the song. It shows a young teenager loading up his desktop computer to play League of Legends. The song describes him playing it while his friends were all out having fun. From a local tournament to them getting to their final destination, the World Championships, it shows his journey.

Cobra Starship is back!

Cobra Starship: Never Been In Love ft. Icona Pop

After taking three years to tour and for Gabe to get married, the crew is back with a new single called ‘Never Been in Love” featuring Icona Pop! They still aren’t going back to the old Cobra’s that you may know them as from “Viva la Cobra!” or “When the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets”, but they are sticking with the same musical style from the album “Night Shades.”

Coming back into the scene with the poppy vibe, you can tell they mean business again with their single ‘Never Been In Love”! This time they brought the lovely ladies from Icona Pop with them to create the single. With the na na na na’s to Icona Pop chiming in for their own chorus it’s great to hear the Fangsters, as they call themselves and their fans, again.

It also seems that this is not the last we are going to be hearing from Cobra Starship! Next year they will be releasing their 5th studio album according to lead singer Gabe Saporta on a radio show just before the release of their recent single. The link to the video of the interview can be found below.

Did you watch “Anaconda” and think “One celebrity shaking her booty in a music video isn’t enough?” Well J-Lo and Iggy Azalea are here to fix that. Just sit back, turn the volume low and enjoy. Or play “Booty” on mute and have “Anaconda” playing on another tab. It works pretty well. Here, we did it for you.

When Waka announced earlier this week on Instagram that he was looking for someone to roll his blunts for $50,000 a year, many applied. Sadly for all those excited to show off their abilities to the Squad, the right man got the job.

Seth Rogen tweeted Waka Flocka Flame asking for the position, and a few days later it was announced that Rogen had gotten the job. His manager did say, however, that if Rogen doesn’t deliver, “I’ll fire him and hire James Franco”. We all know you roll a mean cross-joint Mr. Rogen, let’s see how you do on blunts.
