Looks like Kanye West took a liking to Lorde’s song “Yellow Flicker Beat” from the score of “Hunger Games: Mockingjay.“ When we heard Mr. West had released a remix of the New Zealand super vocalist we were expecting something incredible. What we found was the complete opposite. The track itself displays Kanye West’s typical production skills, but where is West spitting a verse or two over the track? Wake up Mr. West! We know the two artists have longed to work with each other over the years. There have been countless rumors of the two possibly collaborating (and finally we get something out of them). The two ran into each other in London for their performance on Later with Joos Holland where Kanye expressed interest in Lorde’s lyricis mentioning,
he liked the messages [in my songs], which was cool,” the New Zealand native says. “I was saying to myself, ‘Keep cool. This is normal.
In an interview with Rolling Stones, Lorde discussed her inner fangirl of Kanye. She’s even gone as far as to cover multiple songs from Kanye’s discography. Most recently during her performance at Lollapalooza (Brazil) Lorde took her hand at covering “Hold My Liquor“ from the Yeezus Album. Check it out below!
